Beacons: new project for SHF

By

After the incredible interest created by our VHF (6M and 2M) and UHF (70cm) beacons we are now working on a new possible set-up that we hope it may give to ham community a more clear idea about propagation on Super High Frequencies.

The project is to have installed a 1200 MHz beacon running together with the existing beacons.

The idea is to have a 2 x  40W PA and 2 different directional antennas, one to Europe and the second to Caribbean area.

The expected QRG is 1296.836 MHz that will join our .x36 beacon frequencies family.

For the support on this new project we must thank you Mr Carlo HB9BCD and Mr. Nick HB9EFK
